Today we bring you stunning fairytale wedding photos captured by Yvo Greutert. Eva and Michel’s ceremony is enough to tempt you to run away into the woods with your loved ones and celebrate your wedding surrounded by nature!
A Wedding Immersed in Nature
The couple chose to celebrate their marriage in the late summer of 2020 at Spichigwald, Bern in Switzerland. The outdoor location was perfect for them and reflected their personalities since they love exploring the outdoors together. The house also provided a beautiful venue for their reception service.
Bridal Look
Eva wore the “Debrah” dress from RosaClara, which she found in a bridal shop named “Brautkleid-Träume”close to Zurich. On her feet, she wore a pair of Kate Whitcomb “Lucy” shoes which provided her an exceptional level of comfort before changing into her Tamaris shoes to protect her from the creepy crawlies in the forest!
The Groom’s Look
Michel’s outfit was planned by the couple themselves, and was found at Peek & Cloppenburg along with the bridesmaid’s dress by “Lace & Beads”.
Wedding Décor
Of course, flowers are a vital part of any wedding, even at a wedding already surrounded by flora and fauna! There were eucalyptus, white roses and gypsophila. In the bouquet there were hints of blue flowers and a range of other flowers.
To create a comfortable setting, the couple used carpets, cushions and rugs for the ceremony in the woodland. Michel even handmade a swing for a photo corner, so unique!
Wedding Cuisine
The wedding banquet consisted of a range of tasty dishes, including caprese salad, beef fillet and a variety of sweet treats from talented caterer Cada Nobile.
Eva’s maid of honor, Mara, created an impressive wedding cake for Eva and Michel with a range of flavours and fillings. How thoughtful!
