Bussaco Palace Hotel is a majestic place located in the Bussaco National Park in Portugal, and was built in 1885 by the last King of Portugal. This palace is considered one of the most romantic and historical hotels in the world.
The Palace has numerous art pieces, valuable fresco paintings, as well as tiles representing the Battle of Bussaco, of the greatest Portuguese artists of the XIX century. The hotel has 60 beautiful rooms and suites decorated in Art Deco style, with all the amenities: satellite TV, telephone, private bathroom… Some of the rooms have spectacular views of the garden.
It also has the Restaurant Mesa Real, which was a the old royal banquet hall, and which today is decorated with beautiful paintings and a spectacular Moorish ceiling. The Hotel also has the Bar Carlos Reis, a majestic lounge with wooden ceilings, and a winery with exclusive Bussaco wines since 1920.
