La Marquesa Hotel is located in an old Nazari Palace and now is a unique charming venue to celebrate weddings of up to 300 guests.History
The history of the old palace where today stands the Hotel La Marquesa dates back to the early times of the Nasrid dynasty, early 1273.
Don Francisco González Padilla acquired this property in 1904 and since then the building has been restored by different generations of the González family, discovering the beautiful plasterwork that cover the walls of the main rooms of this complex.
At present a comprehensive rehabilitation has been carried out which has provided a wealth of historical data that reveal the importance of the old almunia and have restored its former splendor and beauty.

We have a great variety of spaces, lounges and gardens full of charm perfect to be a fantastic stage in which to celebrate your wedding. In addition we have a large parking with internal security system so that you and your guests enjoy a magnificent celebration without any worry.
Crystal Room:
This large open space of 350 m2 offers the incomparable feeling of being in the middle of nature. This room is covered, heated and fully endowed with all the technical infrastructures of light and sound to make of it a natural and comfortable scenery that spends charm. (Up to 300 people)
Patio of the Cypresses:
Hold a magical event in this outdoor patio. In its 600 m2 stand out the beautiful architectural elements that surround it, as well as a vegetation starring a long row of black and yellow bamboo in front of a wall carved by Julio Juste Moderno.
In addition, you will feel in a natural and rural environment thanks to the olive grove that is next to this patio and also you will have magical views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and the almunia itself. (Up to 600 people)
Pond Garden:
The pond garden is a very special area under large trees and a circular pond full of water lilies and papyrus. The wisteria pergola is an ideal corner as a setting and overlooks the orchard of the estate and the garden of aromatic plants.
The ideal place to hold intimate concerts, conferences, welcome drinks or catering services both sitting and standing. In addition, it has a soft pavement and has access from the Patio of the cypresses or from the hotel itself. (Up to 200 people)
Chapel of the Marquise:
Inside this beautiful old palace and through the north garden, we find the Chapel. Located on the ground floor of the establishment, this chapel is a multipurpose place where you can hold meetings of all kinds for a small number of people.
In addition, this intimate lounge has access to the hotel’s café and pool terrace. (Up to 35 people)
Patio Nazarí:
Our Nasrid patio transports us to the Muslim period in the purest style of the alhambreños patios. Thanks to the beautiful southern façade of the old almunia, this is a fantastic setting for intimate celebrations such as small group meetings or small format concerts, recitals and conferences or family celebrations.
In the background you can see the original arches of the Arab house decorated with plasterwork from the 13th century and, as a background, the lawn meadow and orchard. (Up to 70 people)
North Garden:
After crossing the main gate and through the corridor of the huge cypresses we find the north garden. This is an ideal space for welcome drinks and previous meetings, as well as a place of entertainment.
This patio is also the coolest space of the house and offers a spectacular scenery thanks to beautiful ornamental plants and large trees. (Up to 170 people).
