A Wedding Venue Chosen by Fate

Most people either already know their wedding venue or they choose from a selection they have found, but this was not the case for Bailee and Alex. They originally didn’t want their wedding to be in a hotel, but they soon found The College Hotel. After a day of viewing ten possible wedding locations they eventually discovered the hotel when they visited it for a relaxing afternoon drink.

The couple advises being patient with choosing where to have your wedding because fate will eventually bring you to the perfect venue!

When Two Worlds Collide

What Bailee and Alex wanted most was to bring their friends and family together to experience the incredible emotions throughout the weekend with them. They chose the Netherlands as their wedding destination to experience a beautiful part of the world alongside the most important people in their lives.

The wedding style brought out the true charm of the historic hotel and made it a day to remember for the rest of their lives.

A Song for the Bride

One of the most defining moments of the wedding was Alex’s performance in front of Bailee and the guests. As she proceeded along the aisle, Alex sang “Crazy Love” and played the piano with his Uncle and Bailee’s father, and eventually the guests joined in and sang along.

Alex’s heart-warming gesture was enjoyed by everyone who was lucky enough to witness it and made the day just that extra bit special.

Unique Cuisine

The food available included meat, fish and vegetarian options all in the form of appetizers that included a variety of choices for each option. Everything tasted divine, and to top it off was the wedding cake made entirely of Dutch cheese… even the photos are enough to make your mouth water!
