Mallory and Chris’s wedding combined the Renaissance with The Game of Thrones and we are obsessed!
It took place in a renovated warehouse which was heavily decorated with dark-coloured flowers, feather details and velvet tablecloths. Pearl and Sky Events provided these intricate details which gracefully sat in front of an old Dutch painting. River West Photography did a splendid job at capturing the incredible setting and we can’t wait for you to see the pictures!
Mallory and Chris’ Love Story
In 2015, the couple met in the state of Alabama where Mallory was studying medicine and Chris worked in a library. They began their happy relationship and three years later Chris got down on one knee after a meal together.
They got in touch with highly skilled professionals who then worked for just over a year and a half planning their extravagant event, it was definitely worth the wait!
Wedding Theme
Their theme combined the Dutch Renaissance with The Game of Thrones, which created an authentic, historical wedding. The room was filled with vintage decorations and old candles whilst surrounded by feathers and a range of flowers.
Mallory’s grandma provided a heart-warming touch by hand embroidering the serviettes for the wedding banquet and the cushions scattered around the venue. It added such a beautiful personal detail, and everybody admired the detailed designs!
Wedding Banquet
The couple opted for a “butler” style wedding menu and provided personalised cocktails before the ceremony started.
Heather McMichen, who was both their wedding planner and florist, used extravagant table centrepieces and Dutch paintings to enhance the Renaissance theme and create the perfect setting for a big feast.
Everybody then got up and danced into the early hours of the morning – it was a wedding that will never be forgotten!
