Among the beautiful Mount Monadnock in New Hampshire, North America, Caroline and Andrew said their vows in front of a small number of guests and showed just how popular intimate weddings are becoming. This elopement session, hosted by Events by Sorrell, instantly caught our eye with its adorable Shetland pony and deep fall color palette…it’s a true example of how fall is the perfect month for a wedding!
From the red velvet tones to the golden hour lighting, Kate Preftakes did a spectacular job of capturing this fall elopement. In this article, you’ll discover all the details that made this wedding shoot a true success.
Autumnal vibes
The color palette was a mix of deep red, burgundy and burnt orange that matched the beautiful mountainous setting and the brown autumn leaves that were scattered all over the place. The groom’s blazer, purchased from 9 Tailors, was burgundy and matched the bride’s deep red lipstick and her bouquet filled with burnt orange leaves. The bride also wore a tartan shawl that complemented the tartan details seen throughout the shoot beautifully.
For the table decorations, Birds of a Flower delicately created a small table using the original granite stones of the venue, which was used to present the wedding cake, as well as pieces of fruit that reflected the fall beauty of the surroundings.
