One of the main fall features of the wedding was the creative color palette used. It included pastel shades, dusty oranges, browns and forest greens that were evident throughout the ceremony.
The bride wore an orange wedding headpiece that was perfect for adding a subtle touch of traditional fall hues. Photographer Josey Grace did a great job of capturing all the bright colors and making sure they created eye-catching images of the celebration.
One key tip: don’t get too carried away with the color palette; a balance of seasonal colors is perfect to keep the celebration sophisticated while continuing the theme throughout the wedding.
Thicket Priory: a fitting autumnal backdrop
To enhance the fall vibe, the wedding venue is key, as it creates the perfect backdrop for the theme. Thicket Priory was the perfect location for this fall wedding shoot, as the exposed red brick wall and expansive grounds surrounded by a forest lent themselves perfectly to the setting.
Just look at how beautiful it is!
The color palette is one of the most important parts of a fall wedding, so floral decorations should also be planned with the utmost care. The flowers for this shoot came from Leafy Couture, who provided some incredible bouquets and floral arrangements.
These included garlands of leaves hanging all around the room, flowers scattered throughout the hallway, and green vines climbing up the walls around the stained glass windows. The floral theme continued into the banquet room, where gold and copper china sat on the table amidst dark moss and elegant flowers.
Among all the delicate decorations on the table, Baba Ganoush Catering’s tasty wedding dinner was a favorite!
